Hello Folks! We are excited to announce the 2012 31st Annual American River Festival. It’s amazing that festival has been going on since 1981 which truly shows the dedication our communities have in keeping it alive all these years. Our festival committee is introducing some new energies this year. Our goal is to make it fun for the whole family. As always, we are going to indulge in some fun river activity such as the Whitewater Rodeo, Slalom Kayak Race and the Down River Race. We invite the surrounding communities of El Dorado County to join us, play some games on the grass, eat some yummy food, swim in the river and demo some really great equipment such as stand-up paddle boards, kids kayaks and more.

Our Saturday night dinner, Live and Silent Auction, and dance party are a highlight of the weekend. All Proceeds are a benefit for Friends of the River, American Whitewater, and the American Canoe Association.
